Curriculum vitae

Martin Sedlar is a native of town of Zlin and lives in Opava region for more than 15 years. Born 21st December 1972, he is a Czech politician and entrepreneur. Since October 2013, the Member of the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic for ANO movement 2011. He is divorced and has two children.

He founded and owns the company Natura DATA, which operates in the field of information and communication technologies, based in Ostrava. He dealt with development of information solutions. For five years, he serwed as the Deputy Chairman of the Bureau in the Czech-Polish Chamber of Commerce. For three years he was a Board Member of the Cluster for Travel Trade in Moravian-Silesian Region. He is also a co-organizer of the military-security event NATO Days in Ostrava.

Before his nomination to the Chamber of Deputies he was not involved politically and was not a member of any political party. In the elections to the Chamber of Deputies in 2013, he ran as an independent candidate on the ballot of ANO movement 2011 in the Moravian-Silesian Region and he was elected. Since January 2014, he has become a member of ANO movement 2011, in the regional Opava organization. He is a member of the Defence Committee and the Environment Committee of the Chamber of Deputies. Since October 2015, he is a member of the Permanent Commission for Monitoring the Usege of Wiretapping and Recording of Telecommunications Traffic, Usage Tracking People and Objects, and Interference the Operation of Electronic Communications.

Since December 2013, MP Martin Sedlar carries his mandate both in the Chamber of Deputies as well as in the Parliamentary Office in Opava.

The main activities, on which is Opava parliamentary office focused:

- Representing citizens of the city and region
                - Personal dealings with people who need the help, support or advice on the level of government (ministries, state institutions and organizations)
                - Processing of interesting ideas, rational ideas and comments on the functioning of the state and its institutions

- Communication with owners and managers of regional employers
- Support and cooperation with local authorities of the state and local governments.


Office hours: Mondays from 9 AM to 5 PM.
